The Garden Guild of Highland Park is a 40+ year old garden club on the North Shore of Chicago, Illinois. We maintained the gardens of the Highland Park Historical Society for over 35 years and now we beautify the Highland Park train station. Our club is a member of the Garden Clubs of Illinois.
Since 2017 our community service project has been designing, planting and maintaining the Highland Park train station garden beds and planters. As a welcoming community, we hope to brighten the surroundings for daily commuters as well as visitors who take the trains and buses to Ravinia Concerts.
We strive to educate and promote conservation and beautification of our communities and homes.
Another part of our mission is to provide social interaction and appreciation of each other's creative ideas and expertise.
In cooperation with National Garden Clubs, Inc., The Garden Clubs of Illinois, Inc. provides education, resources, and additional networking opportunities for its members to promote the love of gardening, floral design, civic beautification and development, as well as environmental responsibility.
